The Berwick Area Joint Sewer Authority (BAJSA) was organized in 1994 in Columbia County, Pennsylvania for the purpose of providing adequate waste water conveyance and treatment services for the municipalities.  Currently, the authority services residences and commercial sites within the five different municipalities; Berwick Borough, Briar Creek Borough, Briar Creek Township, Mifflin Township, and Salem Township. Salem Tappage Fee Penalty

Effective August 2013, Salem Township residents whom hold an outstanding tappage fee balance will be charged a penalty of 1.5% per month.  If you have any questions regarding the above, please feel free to contact us at (570) 752-8477.
